Loving the dog and the dream

There are a lot of reasons why people have a dog and no one reason is better than another's. For love or companionship or sport or to assist those who need guidance in their everyday lives. If you were to ask me why I have dogs the reason is pretty simple...for love and I am sure that is the driving reason you also have dogs in your lives. In my life they are my purpose for being. They are why I get up in the morning and how I discovered "myself". Every one's self-discovery does not come without pain or suffering and when that moment comes and it is staring you in the face please look at it and give it the time it deserves because this will be your moment to find new life and new love. What do I know? Well, this transformative moment for me came with four legs and a face that would never turn away from me. It has taken me a while to understand what "my purpose" is and years to organize and channel creativity where it will do good. My dogs have been with me every step of the way and have been the inspiration and perspiration of this website. Sharing this with all dog people and getting the support to change the future of those dogs who otherwise would not have one. Together!
